During the hot months it is imperitive to be sure your dog has access to clean, cool water if they are outside for any length of time. Dehydration is especially dangerous in the intense summer heat, it can be fatal for any dog so pay close attention. Another thing to be aware of is how hot the ground, concrete, gravel, ect is as well. You can feel it with your hands, and if it hurts you it hurts them, especially for puppies and seniors.
